Los Angeles, (ENTRAVISION).- With 18 candidates on the presidential race, tours across the country - especially to those more important states during primary elections, such as Iowa and New Hampshire - continue in an effort to gain as many votes and donations as possible. Heres where five of the candidates are today.
Bernie Sanders
Independent senator and Democrat candidate, Bernie Sanders, will appear today at a public event in Wisconsin. Sanders, who was not considered to be threat to Hillary Clinton in the beginning, has gained significant popularity. He is expected to attract 9,5000 supporters today at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum event.
Mike Huckabee
One of the biggest opponents of gay marriage, the Republican candidate and former governor of Arkansas plans to hold Town Hall meetings titled Religious Freedom in several points of the state of Iowa between today and July 4th. He will be in Sioux City and Cherokee today.
Rand Paul
After his tour in Colorado, the senator of Kentucky and Republican candidate will spend a few days in Southern Iowa. His schedule today includes four events in Council Bluffs, Sioux City, Sioux Center and Okoboji.
Lindsey Graham
Also back in Iowa, the South Carolina senator and Republican candidate will appear today at a Town Hall meeting in Mason City and a meet and greet at Fort Dodge.
Ben Carson
The neurosurgeon and Republican candidate will be in Anderson, South Carolina today. He is expected to speak to the Anderson Republican Party at a public event in the citys Civic Center. According to the official website, tickets are available for individuals at $15 and for couples at $25.
