Christie is unveiling a «big announcement» today in Iowa, while Fiorina faces criticism for the anti-abortion comments she made on the last republican debate.

Los Angeles, (ENTRAVISION).- We tell you what five of the 20 presidential hopefuls are doing today to get closer to the White House.

Jeb Bush

The former governor of Florida will be in Pennsylvania today to present his energy plan. Bush suggests lifting up restrictions on the export of oil and natural gas, as well as giving more power to the states in these kinds of decisions.

Chris Christie

The governor of New Jersey will be in Des Moines, Iowa for a campaign event in which he plans to give “a big announcement”.

Carly Fiorina

Fiorina continues to climb up in the polls but today she is facing criticism over the comments she made during the presidential debate about an alleged Planned Parenthood video where a live, moving fetus was shown. The images described by the candidate have proven non-existant so far.

John Kasich

The governor from Ohio and republican candidate will be in Chicago for a campaign event.

Bobby Jindal

The governor of Louisiana will take his campaign to Iowa where he will talk about the importance of the English language and cultural assimilation.
